Quality Assurance

 

The Management promotes the importance of quality by:

  • Understanding the value of quality, the need to meet customer requirements, as well as, regulatory and statutory requirements.

  • Supporting the development of quality system(s) formulating the organization's quality policy and objectives.

  • Implementing and communicating the quality system(s).

  • Reviewing the policies to ensure suitability.

  • Planning and performing regular reviews of the QMS.

  • Reviewing: Audit results; Product conformity data; Feedback from customers; Process performance information; Corrective and preventative actions; Previous follow-up actions.

  • Generating 'Management Reviews' remedial decisions and actions.

  • Improving the effectiveness of the QMS.

  • Addressing resource needs.

  • Ensuring that the key service quality personnel are competent by having the right:

    • Education

    • Skill set

    • Experience

    • Training

On January 5th 2012, Bureau Veritas (BV) Quality International awarded ISO 9001-2008 Certification to Electro Mechanics (EM) "Project Management and Execution of Mechanical and Electrical projects for Civil Construction Industry".

On 24 November, 2014 BV recommended  for ISO 14001 (EMS) and OHSAS 18001-(OH&S) certification.

Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)

 

EM affirms its commitment to conserve the environment and provide a safe and healthy workplace.

 

EM targets continual improvement through the adoption of up-to-date techniques and the best practices to be implemented within our workplace, by identifying the business risks while protecting the environment. In parallel, appropriate training is to be given on awareness.

 

Incidents and accidents reports are raised on a monthly basis against set objectives and targets, which are routinely monitored and communicated at company quarterly management meetings.

 

HSE Objectives

 

  • Taking HSE rules/guidelines into consideration when taking business decisions.

  • Complying with the local HSE regulations.

  • Providing sufficient training to EM employees

  • Identifying and controlling the HSE risks that may arise in the workplace

  • Encouraging communicaiton and consultation among all employees.
